Building relationships that power success...
Founded in 1969, Allied Electric Inc. is a multifaceted Electrical Contractor located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. We are experts in our trade, providing electrical construction services in an array of markets nationwide, including industrial, health care, educational, food processing, commercial, and senior living markets.
Since our inception, Allied Electric has not only grown, but thrived, thanks to the experience and longevity of our personnel. From our field personnel to the office staff, many of our team members have been a part of Allied for 20 years or more, fostering a community of teamwork, a concern for the customer, and a concern for one another. Everything we do is centered on developing lasting relationships for our customer's benefit, our employees' benefit and our company's reputation.
We built our reputation on our expertise in electrical construction, but as a full service electrical contractor, we handle so much more. From project inception and design to construction to routine service work, we have people in place to take care of your company's electrical needs, every step of the way.
Putting Safety At The Center
Our people are our most valuable asset, and for this reason, we have committed ourselves to a culture centered around safety. We have an internal Safety Committee made up of personnel from all divisions of the company. Our full-time Safety Director performs bi-weekly job-site inspections for all of our key projects. Most recently, our team has created an in-house Safety App for the field to complete their weekly toolbox talks and job-site evaluations on.
We earn annual ABC STEP Certification each year. In 2018 and 2019 we were honored as a finalist for the ABC Western Michigan Safety Trade Contractor of the Year.
In 2016, we hosted our inaugural company safety day, FUSED, for all Allied employees. We paused routine operations for one day to provide our employees with a packed day of safety training and certification opportunities. We have implemented this tradition bi-annually by tailoring the curriculum to fit the current year.
